STRATEGIC SUSTAINABILITY FORUM FOR CENTRAL EASTERN EUROPE SEPTEMBER 23-24

Visegrad for Sustainability organized the first strategic sustainability forum of Central Eastern Europe, where experts from governments, NGOs, academia and the business sector discussed the theme of "competitive sustainability" and the prospects of sustainability cooperation in the V4.

V4SDG was created to become the organisation that paves the way towards the achievement of the SDGs in Central Eastern Europe.

Among the many interesting panel sessions several topics were discussed such as, the approaches the V4 can take to achieve the sustainable development goals of 2030 (“Tapping the opportunities of Sustainability Cooperation in the V4"); or conversations about the transfromation to climate resilient economies  (“Gaining from the just transition: How can our region turn the European Green Deal to its benefit?”); or discussions on a sustainable global food system and industrial agriculture (“The hidden cost of food: How can we design sustainable and competitive agriculture while protecting biodiversity?).
